We are looking for an experienced AI Application Engineer to design, develop, and deploy intelligent applications that solve real-world business and customer problems.

You will work at the intersection of artificial intelligence and software engineering, integrating AI models and services into reliable, scalable applications. The role involves developing AI-powered features, building LLM-based applications, working with data and APIs, and collaborating with product, engineering, and AI/ML teams to take solutions from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop production-ready AI-powered applications.
  • Integrate LLMs, machine learning models, and AI APIs into software applications.
  • Build AI features for web, enterprise, and business applications.
  • Develop RAG-based applications using embeddings, vector databases, and enterprise data.
  • Design APIs and backend services for AI-powered functionality.
  • Implement prompt engineering, structured outputs, and model integration strategies.
  • Evaluate AI model outputs for accuracy, reliability, latency, and cost.
  • Develop data-processing and inference pipelines to support AI applications.
  • Integrate AI solutions with databases, APIs, cloud services, and enterprise systems.
  • Optimize AI applications for scalability, performance, security, and reliability.
  • Implement appropriate validation, guardrails, and responsible AI practices.
  • Work with software engineers, ML engineers, data engineers, and product teams.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot AI applications in production environments.
  • Stay current with developments in Generative AI, LLMs, and AI application development.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical architecture decisions.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, AI engineering, ML engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong programming experience with Python.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals, including APIs, databases, testing, and system design.
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying AI/ML-powered applications.
  • Experience working with LLMs and Generative AI APIs or models.
  • Strong understanding of RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search.
  • Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and application integration.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD practices.
  • Understanding of prompt engineering, model evaluation, and AI application optimization.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
