We are looking for an experienced Cloud Migration Consultant to help organizations successfully plan and execute cloud migration and modernization initiatives. The role involves assessing existing applications and infrastructure, defining migration strategies, designing target cloud architectures, and supporting workloads through the migration lifecycle.

You will work closely with clients, cloud architects, application teams, infrastructure engineers, security teams, and business stakeholders to ensure migrations are technically sound, secure, minimally disruptive, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Assess on-premises applications, infrastructure, databases, and workloads for cloud readiness.
Develop comprehensive cloud migration strategies, roadmaps, and execution plans.
Recommend appropriate migration approaches such as rehost, replatform, refactor, repurchase, retain, or retire.
Design target architectures for AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
Lead or support application, server, database, and data migrations.
Identify migration dependencies, risks, constraints, and potential challenges.
Develop migration plans that minimize business disruption and downtime.
Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams throughout migration activities.
Implement cloud-native modernization strategies where appropriate.
Support data migration, application integration, networking, security, and identity requirements.
Validate migrated workloads for functionality, performance, security, and reliability.
Troubleshoot migration-related issues and coordinate resolution across technical teams.
Optimize migrated workloads for performance and cloud costs.
Develop migration documentation, architecture diagrams, and technical reports.
Support post-migration optimization and operational handover.
Communicate migration progress, risks, and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Cloud Migration, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, Solutions Architecture, or a related field.
Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Strong understanding of cloud architecture, networking, compute, storage, databases, and security.
Proven experience planning and executing cloud migration projects.
Understanding of application dependencies and migration assessment methodologies.
Experience with infrastructure and application modernization.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM/Bicep.
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies.
Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
